READJUST kick-off meeting launched the project in Delft (11–12 March 2024)

The READJUST consortium officially launched the EU-funded project at its kick-off meeting in Delft, the Netherlands, on 11–12 March 2024. The meeting brought together the project partners to align on objectives, coordinate the work plan, and initiate collaboration to address inequalities linked to Europe’s green and digital (“twin”) transition, with a particular focus on the mobility and agri-food sectors.

Across two days, partners introduced their roles and contributions and discussed the overall project concept and approach, including the planned development of the READJUST Observatory to support policymakers with evidence, tools, and guidance. The programme included:

  • a welcome and partner introductions, followed by a session with the European Commission on policy context and expectations
  • presentations of work packages 1–5 and discussion of how they connect
  • a dedicated session to explore the case studies in agri-food and mobility
  • coordination items on project management, WP6, document procedures, collaboration with sister projects, and planning of consortium and WP meetings
  • a target audience workshop and a discussion on exploitation strategy, including IPR and data management considerations

The kick-off meeting marked the starting point for READJUST’s four-step approach: tracking policies and inequalities, analysing transition processes, co-creating and testing policy measures and tools, and translating findings into practical recommendations for more equal outcomes.

A big thank you to the project's coordinator for hosting the READJUST team!
